Carpe Day is a personal planner. This page says plainly what it keeps about you, who can see it, and how to get it back or delete it.
What we keep
- Your account: your name, and the public part of your passkeys (the private part never leaves your device). No passwords, and no email unless you add one to a contact.
- Your schedule: everything you or your agents put in: events, places, people you add, workouts, meals, lists, to-dos, goals, bills and notes.
- A change log: what changed, when, and who changed it (you in the app, an agent by its name, a guest RSVP).
- Keys and connections: a fingerprint of each API key and connected app (never the key itself), its permissions, and when it was last used.
- Basic visit counts: page views through Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Who can see it
- You. Your schedule is yours; other people with accounts here can't see it.
- People you share with. Only the calendars you share, to view or to edit, and only RSVP links you create (they never show phone numbers or call lists).
- Agents and apps you connect, within the permissions you approved. You can see and revoke every one under Settings → Access.
- Our hosting providers, which store and serve the data: Vercel (the app) and Turso (the database, in the US). They don't use it for their own purposes.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or train models on it.
Agents
When you connect an AI agent (for example Claude), it can read or change your schedule within the permissions you approved, and what it reads is sent to that agent's provider under their own privacy terms. Disconnect it any time under Settings → Access.
Getting it back, or deleting it
- Export: Settings → Advanced opens your whole schedule as JSON you can copy.
- Delete: to delete your account and everything in it, contact the person who runs this Carpe Day (the support page lists how). When an account is removed, its schedule, passkeys and keys are deleted right away.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and the app will say so.
Questions: contact the person who runs this Carpe Day (the support page lists how). Back to Carpe Day.
